Creating a calm, centered, and connected community.

Hello and welcome families and students!
This will be my third year as one of the school counselors at Aspen Middle School. I am excited and feel grateful to work with the students and families, and be a part of the ASD community! I am from a small town in Southern Vermont, and when I am not at school, I enjoy snowboarding, playing tennis and soccer, and going for walks. In addition to working with students, playing sports is another one of my passions. I had the privilege to play soccer on the Olympic Development Team for the state of Vermont, and I played tennis at Springfield College during my four undergraduate years. I lived in central Massachusetts and taught there as a 6th-grade Special Educator; however, that “Colorado Calling” and following my dream of becoming a school counselor is what brought me to this area, and I am so happy to be here!
As a school counselor, I seek to foster an environment for our students that is safe, welcoming, and a place where they can be their true selves. I recognize and appreciate students’ strengths, values, interests, and abilities, and that every student is unique, which is such an incredible thing! Students are at the center of their learning and experiences, and it is essential to meet students where they are. Please know that I am here, as an equal partner, and I value consistent communication and collaboration. I look forward to working with the families, students, and staff and to the wonderful year ahead!
Happily serving families L through Z :)
